This instant noodle is not so instant
This instant noodle is packaged in plastic bag. It means you need bowl to eat. in addition that it need little cooking process.
It must be painful for hungry person who hope to eat as soon as possible. Certainly you can eat it without little cooking process if you have strong tooth.
It’s not so instant “instant noodle”! But it is bit economic rather than cup type instant noodle.
So this plastic bag instant noodle is also popular food for Japanese middle class people.
Name of this instant noodle is cunning
This instant noodle name is “Demae iccho”. It is shout phrase of noodle restaurant delivery boy. It means that “one delivery noodle” in English.
Demae means delivery, Iccho means one cup of noodle.
*in Hong Kong, it called “Demae ramen”. ramen means (chinese) noodle. Ramen is noodle in Japanese. so it should be simply “Demae noodle”. it is very confusing for English language people.
This boy picture is old typical noodle delivery boy appearance. This delivery boy normally bring fresh cooked noodle. So this Demae iccho package reminds us of fresh cooked noodle even though it’s just instant noodle that need to cook. It’s very cunning marketing strategy.
But I must admit it is very delicious.
Not honest package picture but delicious
It contains noodle and powdered soup and seasoning Goma oil. You must be careful because package picture have egg and sliced meet and green onion etc, but it is not contained in it. This picture is just sample ideal cooking picture. It is very confusing pictures. They should not use this picture. Maybe lots of people mistake to buy it seeing this gorgeous sample noodle picture. It’s cunning marketing strategy.
