UCC is name of this company, “Ueshima Coffee Co.,Ltd.” and product name is The coffee Satou Zero (non sugar coffee). it’s a very simple name. Nobody misunderstand to buy it while lots of company try to name complicated one to sell more.

and sub line say

– Quantity is x1.2
– It use Whipped Cream made at Hokkaido
– it don’t use artificial sweetener

so we imagine it will be sweet even though it don’t use sugar. and it is cost saving because quantity is x1.2.

How about tasste?

It’s amazing because it is little bit sweet even though it don’t use sugar. or I should say it is creamy coffee without sweet.

Some Japanese people love sweet cold coffee. but some Japanese love non sugar cold coffee. we believe these canned drink use too many sugars and it is not good for health.

But maybe lots of Japanese people want to drink sweet coffee, so this company make effort to add sweet without using sugar.

it amazing business effort.

Why I bought it?

But tell the truth, i dont care about it so much. I just want pull back car toy.

It is NISSAN Z car, 8 types.

this toy is very sophisticated model and surprisingly it run by pulling back.

This pull back toy seem to be expensive more than coffee.

Mercedes is one of the popular dreams for Japanese middle class people. If you want to sell coffee in Japan, I have a successful advice. You should present Mercedes to people who buy coffee.

But there is difficult problem in this idea. Mercedes is more expensive than coffee.

If you give up there, you cannot be Japanese business man who works in marketing section of coffee company. And you cannot buy Mercedes.

But Japanese marketing team give you Mercedes dream instead.

If you buy Mercedes in USA, you maybe can get coffee presents, because USA is material country, according to Madonna who makes effort to be sexy in spite of old lady.

But if you buy coffee in Japan, you can get small Mercedes as a small present. Yes, Japan is dream country. But that dream is very small.

It’s a really small Mercedes, but I think it still cost much more than coffee.

This time, I bought two kind coffees. One is “Koku no black”, another is “Koku no Chou bitou”.

Koku no black means tasty coffee without sugar.

Koku no chou bitou means tasty coffee with super very little sweet.

Package explanation says that they study European coffee culture and make coffee with Japanese technique.

Koku no black, it use high class coffee beans. It uses special technique to immure the pheasant aroma.

Koku no chou bitou, it is sweet but don’t use sugar. It adds sweet taste to enjoy deep roast coffee.

What is taste?

Koku no black is tasty and certainly it’s aromatic. when I open it, bitter flavor come out.

Koku no chou bitou is subtle sweet. it gives tasty taste blended with strong bitter coffee taste.

Actually coffee itself is very enough quality, I think.

But they fully care Mercedes presents too.

This strange shape and vivid unnatural color case seem to be new chemical weapon to kill innocent people by Terrolist.

I don’t recommend to keep this when you go through NY airport security gate if you don’t want to be taking off your wet yellow pants surrounded by cautious airport officers.

When you open the cover and take small white tablets, you misunderstand you are very bad drug dealer. But it is completely opposite. This tablet is for pure child.

Reason of this strange shape

The reason why this talet case is strange is it’s imitation of Ramune juice.

What is Ramune juice ?

Ramune is very popular drink in Japan. It’s Japanese sweet soda like Coke. This special bottle shape can keep corbonation pressure. Someday I will introduce this drink in this Jap food online.

This name is from lemonade. You know Japanese people cannot recognize difference of L & R pronounciation. We still believe we say lemonade, but actually Ramune.

You never know that lots of Japanese very old soldiers are still waiting for the command of Japanese emperor to beat up USA army at Parlor Bar. Maybe they are drinking Ramune at Palor bar.

And this tablet is imitation of this drink. Taste is sweet cider flavor.

Why this is there ?

When I go to grocery store, I found Pepsi coke package in corn snack area. I confused for a while because Pepsi package can be seen only at drink area or we never see Pepsi package at corn snack area until now in Japanese grocery store.

Certainly there are lots of taste corn snack in Japan. Salt taste, Consomme taste, Tacos taste, Wasabi taste, Piza taste, BBQ taste etc… all these taste are understandable and rational.

Because we can easilly imagine that “potate + Consomme = good taste” or “Potate + BBQ = good taste” etc.

But I think these are not human who can think that “Potate + Pepsi = good taste”.

But believe or not, Pepsi taste corn snack is sold in this grocery store. Even though I don’t want to accept this strange snack existence, this is there. at that time, I understand the christan people’s feeling who found out crucifixion Jesus.

Why I bought it ?

I know this must be bad taste, awful food. But strangely I cannot stop concering it. This must be never good taste. This never be nutrious. This is very unhealthy. Please tell me, who buy such worthless snack by spending valuable my money.

But you know I bought it at last.

I cannot explain logically why I spend money to such stupid food.

The name of this snack is, “Shuwa Shuwa Cola aji” in Japanese. it means “schwa schwa coke taste”. Shuwa is echoic word. and it never be used with corn snack normally.

Package say when you throw it in your mouth, corn snack popping like schwa schwa. this is surprising snack.

Enjoy refreshing Pepsi coke sweet taste.

I open package. inside corn snack seem to be quite ordinaly normal corn snack.

Color and surface is also basic corn snack.

And I throw it in my mouth with courage even though this must be awful taste.

Tell the truth, I regret to buy and regret to put it in my mouth when I taste it.

it is exactly schwa schwa feeling same as drinking popsi coke, but it accompany with salty corn snack taste.

and as I imagined, this is really bad taste.

My advice.

When you eat this disgusting corn snack, I recommend you empty your stomack because schwa schwa happen not only in your mouth, but also in your stomack.

I love Pepsi coke, I like to eat corn snack, but I run away if I am force to eat Peopi coke taste snack in future.

When I walked in Convinience store to wet my dried throat, I find out Ice coffee bottle with ULTRAMAN figure.

Usually this season, Japanese drink company try to sell Ice coffee bottle with small present to promote Ice coffee sales before Summer Ice drink season.

Their maketing strategy is like this.

1. Summer is comming > Lots of people will buy ice drink

2. We need to make people our company’s product.

~~3. Let’s make effort to produce Good taste, high quality coffee that people will want to buy again and again~~

3. Let’s make effort to control people’s behavior to buy our product.

4. Sell our products with small present that is completely no relation with our product but people hope to get more than our product.

5. If people buy our product one time, people must buy our produtct repeatedly in this Summer season.

6. and several drink company start to sell Ice coffee with small present before Summer season.

I think there are some big marketing mistake in this process. but I am also so stupid that I bought this Ice coffee bottle.

or exactlly saying, I got small present by paying money for this ice coffee.

This figure is what I want !, URTRAMAN !

Small booklet with explanation about this character enhance my possessive instinct.

Surprisingly this figure can run with pull back action, in addition that they can not only run ground but also water !
